What is the AI Tool Policy?

The AI Tool Policy lets admins control which AI tools your team is allowed to use. Go to Guardrails → AI Tools to see all 18+ supported AI tools. Toggle the policy on to restrict access to approved tools only. The policy enforces at two levels: • **Browser Extension** — Blocks interactions with unapproved tools when users try to use them. • **Cloudflare Gateway** (optional) — Blocks unapproved tool domains at the DNS level, covering all devices on your network including native apps, mobile, and CLI tools. When you approve or block a tool, the change syncs automatically to both enforcement layers. Policy changes are logged in the audit trail.
