What is the Activity & Audit?

The Activity & Audit is your organization's complete audit trail of AI interactions, captured by the browser extension. Each entry shows the AI tool used, the action taken (sent, blocked, or warned), a risk score (0–100), guardrail flags, and a timestamp. By default, TeamPrompt uses **metadata-only mode** — it logs the action, tool, and timestamp but does **not** store the actual prompt text. This protects employee privacy while still giving admins visibility into usage patterns and security events. Admins can switch to **full logging mode** in Settings → Security → Activity & Privacy to also capture prompt text, which is useful for compliance-heavy industries that require a complete audit trail. The audit log supports CSV and JSON export, date/tool/action filters, and configurable retention policies. Available to admins and managers on the Team plan and above.
