What is the log retention policy?

Admins can set an automatic retention period for activity logs in Settings → Security → Activity & Privacy. Enter the number of days to keep logs (1–3,650 days). Logs older than this are automatically deleted daily. Leave the field empty to keep logs indefinitely. This is useful for organizations with data retention requirements or storage considerations. When retention is set, a daily cleanup job runs automatically. Deleted logs cannot be recovered.
